Thomas Spitz is a seasoned financial markets executive with over 25 years of global leadership experience at top-tier institutions across Paris, London, New York, and Abu Dhabi. Throughout his career, he has delivered strategic transformations across trading and sales operations, with a specialized focus on innovation, risk management, and sustainable business growth. His proven ability to navigate high-stakes environments while building forward-thinking strategies has established him as a recognised industry expert.

As CEO of QuantCube Technology in the Middle East, Thomas leads a strategic joint venture with Abu Dhabi's Strategic Development Fund (part of EDGE Group). Under his leadership, the firm is expanding AI-powered alternative data and analytics solutions throughout the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia. His vision positions QuantCube Technology as a regional champion for cultivating local intellectual property, fostering research partnerships with universities and government entities, and establishing a regional champion in AI and big data analytics.

Prior to his current role, Thomas served as Head of Global Markets at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), the largest bank in the region. Recruited to support FAB's global markets ambitions, he led teams responsible for trading, sales, group asset-liability management, and proprietary investments. During his tenure FAB’s Market Division accelerated its international reach, aligned with international standards and launched innovative product initiatives, including making FAB the first bank in the Middle East to offer carbon markets solutions.

Thomas brings extensive international experience, having managed teams across 16 countries and represented institutions at high-level global summits including COP, IMF Annual Meetings, and the Future Investment Initiative. His track record includes successfully leading multi-billion USD business lines as well as strategic technology transformation programs and pioneering innovative financial products that have strengthened market positions for the institutions he has served.
